Description
The location for the purpose build Bell 47 hangar is inland on Kri Island to distance ourselves from the Sea (salt water influence). To build the hangar was quite an adventure. First a lever area needed to be found and once we had that we needed to remove 3 Megapodius bird mounts which by itself was quite a task! After leveling the hangar area we dug the foundations and started bringing bricks, sand, cement and rebar up the hill which was another KILLER! Soon we found the best way (fastest) was by motorcycle and we already kind of wore out one Yamaha XT 350 in the process. Pls. check-out the galary section to get an impression of the work involved!
